Teaching

I have been evolving my Focusing teaching for over 20 years. I teach the four levels of Inner Relationship Focusing and specialized workshops applying and adapting Focusing. Meditation and movement facilitation are woven into these offerings.

In 2015-2017, I led a local group through a Focusing Professional Certification Program. In September of 2022, I begin guiding a new two year local in person training group to become a Certified Focusing Professional. The enrollment for this group is closed.

I have also taught Focusing and other awareness practices to various retreat groups locally and as far away as Bali, Indonesia. 

Through being a mentor in Trillium Awakening, I have had the opportunity to be a part of several teaching teams in large, medium and small groups at various retreats and sittings.

I look forward to adding and weaving in Realization Process teaching and practices into my offerings going forward.

Mentoring

In December 2012, I became a mentor in the deep work of embodied awakening through Trillium Awakening (formerly known as Waking Down in Mutuality). Trillium Awakening is a spiritual lineage that embraces the paradox of the human and divine dimensions of life and an attention to conscious mutual relationships.

Currently, I am not an active mentor in Trillium Awakening but remain deeply grateful to the teachings and the teachers in Waking Down in Mutuality and Trillium. This work has had a profound effect on my life.

I have also mentored many students in becoming a Focusing professional: one on one through my own practice, in collaboration with Focusing Resources (Ann Weiser Cornell), and through my two-year local group training program.

I am extremely grateful for the role of teachers and mentors, past and present, in my own life. And it is an honor to step into that role myself in a variety of ways.
